‘Audrey’ is SOMEONE’s musical ode to Twin Peaks’ Audrey Horne. “I wanted the music to channel the twilight zone between youth and womanhood, moving between the sensual and the naive, the danger and the tenderness,” explains the composer, producer and visual artist, real name Tessa Rose Jackson. Musically, the track takes inspiration from a variety of trip-hop artists before bursting into a goosebump-inducing saxophone solo climax, courtesy of Floris van der Vlugt. Under the direction of David Spearing and with the help of impressive Eye Lights, the eerie, atmospheric video that accompanies the track reacts perfectly to each musical decision.
